What happens when I decide to change my lifestyle from a nutritional and mental point of view?

Very often, what drives us to make a change is something that happens, not always pleasant, or a balanced mindset that recognizes that, just as our mental well-being is necessary for our serenity, so is our food. Getting to the point where we have to start from scratch, get used to it, and acquire the knowledge necessary to feed ourselves properly involves sacrifices, but how far do we have to work hard to get what we want? I firmly believe that you know the answer because obviously nothing done superficially leads us to real results. So, what is important to do to embrace change and make it easier? Surely it has happened many times to have to make numerous attempts to be able to do something impeccably, until you achieve what you wanted. Here I surprise you because what is needed is an open mind ready to receive what has already been discovered for you, and it is the only thing necessary. What do I mean? I simply mean that it is important, together with the nutritionist, to thoroughly explore your nutrition and what you should eat to become happier, as discussed in the previous chapter.

It does not mean that, if your diet until now has been based on pizza and hamburgers, now you will feed only on those; that’s not what I mean. But, by exploring deeply, you will discover which foods you like and which you don’t like, thus focusing on what makes you feel good in terms of food. You’ll definitely want to feed yourself with that base. Clear?

So what are the sacrifices you will have to make in order to reach your ideal weight and physical well-being? That’s a great question, and the answer might surprise you. The key to achieving your goal doesn’t necessarily lie in drastic sacrifices or extreme restrictions. In reality, the secret lies in following dietary advice that is based on what you like and what is good for your body.

This means that you don’t have to give up your favorite foods completely or force yourself into a monotonous diet. Rather, it is a matter of balance and awareness. You will discover which foods you like and that make you feel good, and gradually incorporate them into your daily diet.

The next step is perseverance. You don’t have to give up at the first difficulty or give in to occasional temptations. You will have to work constantly to transform these food choices into real habits. As healthy eating becomes an integral part of your lifestyle, you’ll find that it becomes more and more natural and rewarding.

You can do it? Absolutely! You can achieve any goal you set for yourself in life. Sometimes, it might take a little more time or effort, but it’s important to remember that every little step forward brings you closer and closer to your goal. So, be patient with yourself and keep working towards your physical well-being and ideal weight. It will definitely be worth it.
