Why would you care about your health and body weight if you were really aware of what you need to feed yourself and feel good about your body and yourself? We often spend a lot of time worrying about all those issues related to weight and aesthetics, as the information on nutrition is numerous and often confusing. Theories about healthy eating also depend on the culture you follow. For example, in Muslim culture, eating healthy excludes pork a priori, while for Indians, the cow, which is considered sacred, is excluded from their diet. Therefore, the choice of daily food is influenced by many factors, in addition to those of our personal culture, such as cultural ones. However, I am sure that we all agree on some principles that we cannot ignore.
As we have noted in some previous articles, wanting to lose weight and then look more beautiful or more beautiful is a consequence of the fact that we follow a healthy diet, consisting of the choice of foods that truly nourish our body. Even when we eat pizza, we are still nourishing our bodies, but is it really what it needs? Even when we stop at McDonald’s, we are feeding our bodies. The question we should ask ourselves is: ‘Am I providing my body with the necessary substances to be active and efficient, avoiding accumulating fat in unwanted areas?
From my careful observation, I noticed that there are foods that contain few nutrients and a lot of saturated fats. Among these, I mention sausages, snacks of various shapes and origins, fatty cheeses, fried foods, etc. These foods can nourish our body in the sense that they satiate us, but in the end they lead to those annoying accumulations of fat that we do not like. It is true that they are delicious, I do not deny it, but it is important to check how much actual nourishment they really provide us.
Pay attention to when you eat a nice plate of French fries: initially you feel full, but shortly afterwards your body requires food again. Why does this happen? If we really chose foods that nourish us, we would have in return a lean, happy and full of energy body, instead of one that falls asleep shortly after finishing eating.
Ultimately, I believe that it is essential to become aware of what we need to live well, both physically and mentally.
Let me know how it goes. Thank you
